Privacy Policy

Effective May 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how EDGE (“EDGE”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use EDGE Terminal, our website, APIs, and related community channels (collectively, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to information we process in connection with the Service. It does not cover third-party websites, brokers, data vendors, or community platforms (such as Discord) that maintain their own policies.

2. Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you use the Service:

  • Account and access requests: email address, name or display name, and access codes you submit when requesting beta access or signing in.
  • Discord profile (optional): if you connect Discord, we receive your Discord user ID, username, global display name, and avatar URL as authorized by Discord.
  • Subscription and billing: payment status, plan type, and transaction metadata processed by our payment partners. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
  • Usage and technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, feature usage, timestamps, and diagnostic logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
  • Session authentication: a signed session token stored in an HTTP-only cookie to keep you signed in to the terminal.
  • Local workspace data: trade journal entries, layout preferences, theme settings, and similar data stored in your browser (local storage or indexed storage) unless you export or sync it through a feature we provide.
  • Communications: messages you send to us via Discord, email, or support channels.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service and its analytics modules.
  • Authenticate access, enforce plan limits, and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Process subscriptions, renewals, refunds, and referral program payouts.
  • Display your profile information when you link Discord or manage your account.
  • Send service-related notices (access approvals, security alerts, billing receipts, and material policy updates).
  • Analyze usage to fix bugs, optimize performance, and develop new features.
  • Comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and protect the rights and safety of EDGE, users, and others.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in these circumstances:

  • Service providers: hosting, analytics, payment processing, email delivery, and customer support vendors that process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
  • Market data and infrastructure partners: necessary technical identifiers and requests required to retrieve quotes, greeks, flow, and macro data you request through the Service.
  • Discord: when you choose to connect your account, authentication occurs through Discord’s OAuth flow under Discord’s terms and policies.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy or a successor policy with notice.
  • With your direction: when you explicitly ask us to share information or make it public (for example, community posts you choose to publish).

5. Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies

We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure reliability of the Service.

Essential cookies and storage items are required for authentication and core functionality. You can clear browser storage in your device settings, but some features may not work until you sign in again.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the terminal application.

6. Data retention

We retain account, billing, and security logs for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Journal and layout data stored locally in your browser remains on your device until you delete it or clear site data.

When you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal information unless retention is required by law or legitimate business needs (such as fraud prevention or financial record-keeping).

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for safeguarding your access codes and device credentials.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export personal information, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the channels listed below. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Marketing emails are optional where applicable; you can opt out using the unsubscribe link in those messages.

9. International transfers

We may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. When we transfer personal information internationally, we use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.

10. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy on this page and revise the effective date. Material changes may be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate.

Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
